Burglar tries to steal comic books, Barbie doll
A burglar broke into a Gold Hill home and tried to steal comic books, Barbie dolls and old gun, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Department. Joseph Odell Harvell reported the break-in occurred at his 1245 St. Peter's Church Road, Gold Hill, home March 26 or 27. Total loss was $1,025.
